At 7.20 pm on Wednesday, a single-vehicle accident occurred on the E20 west of Eskilstuna.
According to SOS Alarm, a person must have driven into the center railing on the road.
No person is said to have been injured in connection with the accident, but the traffic has been shut off completely in a westerly direction during the remediation work on the road.
According to an initial forecast from the Swedish Transport Administration, the road will be open again by 8 p.m.
