Saudi Royal Court: Biden to visit the kingdom July 15-16

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced, on Tuesday, that US President Joe Biden will pay an official visit to the Kingdom on July 15-16, at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Royal Court stated - in a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency - at the kind invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and in order to strengthen the historical bilateral relations and the distinguished strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, and the common desire to develop them in all fields, the US President Joseph Biden, on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 16 and 17 Dhu al-Hijjah 1443 AH, corresponding to 15 and 16 July 2022 AD.

In his statement, the Court stated that the US President will meet during the visit with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Crown Prince, to discuss aspects of cooperation between the two countries, and to discuss ways to confront the challenges facing the region and the world.

The statement noted that the schedule of the visit on its second day includes the attendance of the US President at a joint summit called by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the King of Jordan, the Egyptian President and the Prime Minister of Iraq.
