Nine-month suspended prison sentence for sexual assault of a teenage girl

A man in his thirties was sentenced by the court in Brest (Finistère) on Monday.

The facts occurred in May 2018 when the aunt was away from her home.

The respondent, a construction site manager in the building, touched the victim while she was sleeping on the sofa.

Nine months suspended sentence

Deeply marked, the teenager took time to reveal the facts and twice tried to end her life.

In addition, the 30-year-old had already been sentenced in 2020 for touching the victim's twin sister.

Finally, the defendant was sentenced to nine months in prison with a probationary sentence of 24 months.
