Before flying to Romania, Moldova and perhaps Ukraine, Emmanuel Macron entered the battle for the second round of legislative elections.

The French president made an unexpected statement on the tarmac at Orly airport.

The objective is to dramatize the issue of this election against an opponent, the Nupes of Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

“

Nothing would be worse than adding French disorder to world disorder

”.

It's me or chaos, Emmanuel Macron seemed to say, asking the French to give him "

a solid majority to ensure order

" in a declaration in the form of a solemn address which gave the impression of being improvised

in extremis

before leaving France.

The fate of the five-year term will be played out by the end of the week, because if Emmanuel Macron does not obtain an absolute majority, his ability to govern will be called into question.

So the President of the Republic chose – at the risk of giving an impression of feverishness – to warn of the danger which, according to him, awaits France, analyzes

Valérie Gas

, of the political service.

And for him, this danger is Jean-Luc Mélenchon, he is not named, but targeted.

In a position of head of state

Emmanuel Macron evokes "

the superior interest of the Nation

", calls on the French so that "

no voice is missing from the Republic

".

There was too much at stake to stay away from the country for several days without saying anything.

He also assured that he had heard "

 the difficulties that were expressed

" during the first round on Sunday.

Faced with the crises that are sure to arise, nothing would be worse than losing ourselves in immobility, in blocking, in postures

 ,” said Emmanuel Macron.

By appearing on an airstrip, in front of a plane ready to take off.

Emmanuel Macron has once again staged his posture as head of state who manages world affairs in the hope of showing the French that only he can protect them.

It remains to be seen whether he will have convinced them.
