China News Agency, Toronto, June 13 (Reporter Yu Ruidong) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed through an online social platform on June 13 that his new crown virus test result was positive.
This is Trudeau's second confirmed infection of the new coronavirus after contracting the virus at the end of January this year.
Trudeau said the quarantine will follow public health requirements.
He said he felt fine because of the vaccination.
He also once again called on the public to get vaccinated against the new crown and booster shots.
The schedule released by the Prime Minister's Office showed that Trudeau was scheduled to participate in a private meeting in the capital Ottawa area that day.
Trudeau went to the United States from June 7 to 11, visited the headquarters of the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) and attended the Summit of the Americas. During the period, he had met with U.S. President Biden, Argentine President Fernandez, Dominican President Abinadel, etc. A number of leaders of American countries and the US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other US political and business people met.
On January 31 this year, Trudeau, who had received three doses of the new crown vaccine, confirmed that he and one of his children had tested positive for the virus.

Nearly 82% of the country's total population has achieved complete vaccination of the new crown vaccine, that is, two doses; nearly 49% have received three doses; and about 7% have received four doses.
