The opposition stops the government's pension compromise

At lunchtime, the opposition announced that they were stopping the government from presenting the pension compromise to the Riksdag.

- We follow the risk agenda.

Therefore, it will not be discussed, but instead it will be our proposal - and it is good for Sweden's pensioners, says Jakob Forsmed (K), member of the finance committee.

The Moderates' Elisabeth Svantesson (S) tells SVT that they stand by the opposition's pension proposal.

The proposals on the table are close to each other, there are not many 100-notes that differ, why not take care of it within the pension group?

- Now the proposal came early in the morning, and our proposal is basically better than what the Center Party, the Left Party and the Social Democrats have produced, and we stand by it, she says.

At the same time, the Center Party's Annie Lööf (C) has announced that they support the government's budget on Wednesday.

- Then she will vote for the Nooshi supplement, which means that she says no to more money for the police, the defense and Ukraine, says Elisabeth Svantesson (M).
