“As long as the EU struggles with security of supply, its instability and the entire management of such an operation, Russia will enjoy the long-term increase in oil prices,” Shviglikova said.

The article expresses the point of view that the oil embargo is a maneuver that will have serious consequences for the European Union.

“I suppose that for the European Union they will be much worse than for Russia, which will easily find alternative markets,” the author clarifies.

Earlier, economist Vasily Koltashov spoke about the reasons for the failure of Western sanctions against Russia.

In his opinion, the weak impact of European restrictions on the country is due to the incompetence of Western economists, who did not warn the authorities about the consequences of such measures.
