At a restaurant in Tangshan, China, a strong man approaches a woman and places his hand on her back.

When the woman shakes her teeth, the man tries to touch her face again, and when she pushes the teeth away, the man slaps the woman in the cheek and swings her fists.

The woman and her companions protested, but men joined in and dragged the women out of the restaurant and beat them mercilessly.

Two out of four women who were assaulted suffered serious face injuries.

[Restaurant owner: I told someone to report it immediately.

Men threatened me too, and when I went out, they beat me too.]

As this CCTV video was released, public opinion calling for criticism and severe punishment is boiling.

Hong Kong movie star Cheng Rong also posted on social media that he couldn't sleep in annoyance and was sad that the men around him had done nothing.

Tangshan city police hastily arrested seven men and two women involved in the assault.

Of these, five had criminal convictions such as illegal detention and injury.

After the incident, reports of crimes from residents of Tangsan City, even with their real names, exploded online like a flood.

Much of it is that the police did not properly handle gangster cases.

[Tangshan City Resident: Gangsters have made a commotion in my store and house about 20 times.

(I reported it several times), but the public security only gave critical education.]

[Tangshan City Resident: (To the thugs) I was detained for a whopping 16 hours.

However, the public security forces left the shadowy forces alone and acted as a shield.]

Tangshan City belatedly even held a large-scale crime-fighting contest.

The Chinese have expressed their anxiety and anger over the incident, demanding a thorough investigation into local gangsters and non-supporters.
