It is a good labor market for the age group and right now there is very high pressure among employers to get seasonal workers, says Erica Sund who is section manager at the Swedish Public Employment Service in Örebro.
Several industries are short of staff
During March / April, unemployment fell by 0.3 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
At the end of April, unemployment for the age group was 8 percent, which was 2.8 percentage points lower, compared with the same month last year.
Currently, there are several industries that demand labor.
You should not be afraid to look for a job, even if the requirements in the ad can be discouraging, says Erica.
- It is quite a lot of wishful thinking.
