The Covid-19 epidemic is resuming in China.

Despite the drastic sanitary measures, a cluster was recently recorded in Beijing after an evening in a bar, reports TF1 Info.

The establishment concerned, the Heaven Supermarket Bar, is located in a festive district of the Chinese capital.

As many as 166 cases have been identified among people who traveled there last weekend.

A “fierce” resumption of the epidemic

Authorities immediately announced that all residents of the neighborhood where the cluster started will be tested within the next three days.

Two entire buildings, where hundreds of people live, have already been placed under strict control.

Since the end of April, fewer than 2,000 cases of coronavirus have been identified in Beijing.

The government, however, speaks of a “fierce” resumption of the epidemic in the country.

China is indeed practicing a “zero Covid” policy and now plans to maintain health restrictions, which were initially expected to be eased soon.
