The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdullah Aripov, held a meeting with the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Muhammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, during which they reviewed the achievements of the strategic partnership between the governments of the UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan in government modernization and development, which have been achieved, and the new areas that will be focused on during the next stage.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Prime Minister's Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, Abdullah Nasser Lootah, the Executive Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, Khalfan Jumaa Belhoul, and the delegation of the UAE government.

The two sides discussed the achievements of the strategic partnership during the past three years, its future prospects for the next three years, and ways to enhance it through launching programs and initiatives that seek to enhance government work, develop work programs, update its methodologies in various sectors, and transfer them to advanced levels, through the exchange of expertise and experiences between the governments of the two countries. .

The governments of the UAE and Uzbekistan had launched a new phase of cooperation, within the framework of the strategic partnership in government modernization, by signing a memorandum of understanding that included extending the partnership for three years, and expanding its horizons to include 10 vital areas to modernize government work, including the financial sector, the education sector, the economy, and government leaders , food security and agriculture, ports and customs.
