During a special operation in Ukraine, the Russian armed forces destroyed a large warehouse of anti-tank missile systems, portable anti-aircraft missile systems and artillery shells for weapons systems delivered to Kyiv from the USA and Europe in the Ternopil region.

This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, specifying that the strike was delivered by Caliber high-precision long-range sea-based missiles.

He added that over the past day, high-precision air-based missiles also hit two command posts and 15 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The launcher of the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in the Kharkiv region, the radar station for airspace control in the Slavyansk region of the DPR, the radar for detecting and tracking targets of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the Krivoy Rog region, and two batteries of multiple launch rocket systems in the regions were destroyed Zvanovka LPR and Zakotnoye DPR,” Konashenkov said.

In addition, Russian aviation hit three command posts and 25 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of Ukraine, the representative of the department noted.

More than 150 nationalists, six tanks, five field artillery pieces and ten special vehicles for various purposes were destroyed.

“Fighter aircraft shot down two Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the districts of Raygorodok and Cherkasy DPR.

Russian air defense systems shot down one Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the Dolgenkoye area of ​​the Kharkov region, ”Konashenkov said.

In addition, Russian forces shot down eight Ukrainian UAVs, intercepted two Tochka-U ballistic missiles and three Uragan multiple rocket launchers.

Rocket troops and artillery hit 248 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, 21 command posts, as well as 37 firing positions of artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the eve of the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev said that 7,594 people, including 1,346 children, were evacuated to Russia from dangerous regions of Ukraine and the republics of Donbass in a day.

He stressed that more than 9.5 thousand temporary accommodation centers operate in the Russian regions, where refugees are provided with prompt assistance.

Mizintsev added that since the beginning of the special operation, Russia has already delivered to Ukraine more than 29,000 tons of humanitarian supplies containing essentials, food and medicine.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense also noted that Russian sappers continue to work on demining territories in the DPR and LPR.

“18,065 explosive items were detected and neutralized, including 522 per day,” Mizintsev added.

At the same time, he said that the Ukrainian military had placed military equipment in educational institutions in the DPR. 

“In Slavyansk, Donetsk People’s Republic, in the buildings of boarding school No. 1 and the High Voltage Research Institute, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are located, weapons and ammunition depots are equipped, and MLRS are located on the adjacent territory,” Mizintsev said.

Also, according to him, firing positions are equipped in schools No. 17 and No. 9, guns of American production are placed in the immediate vicinity.

Checkpoints and firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are also located in schools in Privolye, Pokrovsk, Konstantinovka, and Nikolaev.

In turn, the ambassador of the Lugansk People's Republic in Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, said that civilians began to leave the Severodonetsk plant "Azot" - they go through the checkpoint, which is not controlled by Ukrainian militants.

“Civilians began to leave through the second checkpoint of the Azot chemical association.

This checkpoint is not controlled by militants.

They are met and taken to a safe place by the fighters of the allied forces, ”he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The ambassador added that the remnants of Ukrainian formations are concentrated and hold several buildings in the area of ​​​​the first gate, where periodic skirmishes occur.

In their hostages, according to Miroshnik, there may be several hundred civilians.

Meanwhile, residents of the Zaporozhye region were the first to receive Russian passports the day before.

The award ceremony was held in Melitopol. 

Alexey Selivanov, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zaporizhia Region, said that employees of the department in the region process more than a hundred sets of documents for obtaining Russian passports every day.

“Work on the return of Russian citizenship to the residents of the Zaporozhye region is proceeding at a record pace,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Selivanov clarified that the registration for obtaining passports in the region has already been booked for a month in advance.
