In the conflict of “humiliating” empires, Russia and China are racing to claim new lands in the name of a past they want to restore, and Moscow has already entered a war for that, and Beijing is still preparing for it, but they are not the only ones, there is Turkey and Iran looking to restore their glorious past, and there is also India, where the bouts of national fever have intensified, and with it the world must not make the same mistake it made in ignoring the Russian delusion.

With this introduction, the Swiss newspaper Lotan (Le Temps) opened a report - written by Frederick Koehler - in which he reviewed the warning of the Indian researcher Sushant Singh of what he called "India reunion" or (Akhand Bharat), which is the implementation of the unitary dream of establishing a Greater India that includes Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Tibet Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and even Myanmar.

This is the dream that the Hindu National Organization "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh" has had for nearly a century - according to an article by the Indian researcher - the organization whose current president, Mohan Bhagwat, announced at a general meeting last April that it would be accomplished within 10 to 15 years, It is part of what is known as "Hindutva", the doctrine of Hindu nationalism.

In order to achieve this dream, it is first necessary to transform present-day India into a Hindu nation, knowing that 200 million Muslims live in it, and they represent 14% of the population, which suggests that it is just an illusion or a reprehensible joke, but Bhagwat who says this is the teacher of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a member of this organization whose political wing is the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

For this reason, researcher Singh believes that “it would be wrong to regard Bhagwat’s words as a delusion, because the task of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to achieve the goals of his organization, and therefore those who are skeptical about talking about the “reunification of India” now are no different from those who were skeptical In Russia's words before last February 24 when it invaded Ukraine.

Muslims are targeted

Like the proponents of the idea of a "great Russian empire" or a "glorious Chinese empire", the Hindus have a story of humiliation that feeds their status as a victim, and thus await opportunities for revenge to be taken, and the Hindu organization mentioned - without the testimony of any historian - that an Indian kingdom returns Its 2,000-year history “covered” the lands claimed today, and their disintegration was explained by Islamic hegemony 1,200 years ago, as Modi himself stated in 2014.

This clearly means - according to the Indian researcher - that the enemy is specific and is internal, so that the Muslim population of India will be the main target of the recent constitutional reviews to strengthen the Hindu identity of the country, and the escalating protests from Islamic countries against New Delhi are only because of insulting expressions against Islam uttered by two people from the Bharatiya Party Janata.

In the same context, Hindu extremists targeted the Mongol jewel "Taj Mahal", claiming that it was built on the ruins of a Hindu temple, and Hindu nationalists marched around the capital chanting in support of the "Uniting Russia" policy similar to the "Reunification of India".

As is the case with the Russian and Chinese presidents, Modi stirs up hatred for the West and its colonial past to win the favor of the Indians, although India, unlike Russia and China, is considered a democracy in which the population is still clinging to that approach to government, even though imperialist ambitions return to it strongly under the pretext of getting rid of past humiliation .
