A new Russian-owned hamburger chain opened at 15 stores on the 12th, using the stores of McDonald's, a major American hamburger chain that withdrew from Russia.

The name of the new hamburger chain is "Fukusuna y Pillbox", which means "delicious. That's it" in Russian.

On the 12th, the first day of business, at the store in the capital Moscow, citizens made a long line and ordered hamburgers and potatoes one after another at the counter.

A male customer who ordered a chicken burger that he liked at McDonald's said, "It's all the same. Of course, the packaging is new, but the taste and quality are excellent."

McDonald's closed all approximately 850 stores in Russia in mid-March following a Russian military invasion, after which it sold its business to a Russian company.

The representative of the company said, "We will open not only 850 stores but also new stores," and the company intends to increase the number of stores even more than McDonald's and grow as a Russian brand.
