[Explanation] The Taiwanese businessman in the picture is Lian Wansheng, who was born in Taiwan in 1954 and is the chairman of Taiwan Fujing Group.
Before taking root in Henan, he mainly engaged in real estate development, highway engineering, hotel management, etc.
In 2003, he went to Zhengzhou for inspection and saw the Yellow River, the mother river of China, which he had longed for since he was a child.
To the surprise of all relatives and friends, it was after the "Yellow River Journey" that Lian Wansheng decided to devote himself to the development of ecology in the Yellow River beach.

The first time I saw the Yellow River, I was disappointed. I was very disappointed. At first, the Yellow River (this) side was very desolate.
Except disappointment is impulsive, I want to do my little bit, how do I green this piece of land, this is my wish.
[Explanation] After careful consideration and scientific demonstration, in the early stage, Laolian invested in ecological protection and green industry development on the 10,000-mu Yellow River beach in Zhengzhou.

(At that time) all my family members and all my friends also saw me joke that how much money Laolian had by the Yellow River to fill the Yellow River, I smiled.
[Explanation] In order to change the serious desertification situation, Laolian took root in the wasteland and chose to plant grass and trees to solve the problem.
Since then, he has continued to inject capital, combined with the experience of modern ecological construction, to create a national AAAA-level tourist attraction integrating tourism, leisure and vacation, and built more than 600 acres of "Sun Moon Lake" with reference to Taiwan's Sun Moon Lake, which became famous for a while.

Thinking of bringing in some Taiwanese culture, Taiwan's Sun Moon Lake is relatively famous, and thinking of making everyone feel that coming to this place seems to have Taiwanese feelings.
[Explanation] In recent years, in order to cooperate with the ecological protection and high-quality development strategy of the Yellow River Basin, Laolian has made changes again.

At first, I thought of doing tourism as a characteristic agricultural product, but then I felt that it was unrealistic, so I returned to my agriculture, in response to the country's current policy of focusing on food.
What I like most about Henan is the mother river of the Yellow River. Every day I come to the Yellow River for a circle, and the wheat "falls in love" (to develop technical agriculture). Do a little bit of the complex of Chinese sons and daughters.
[Explanation] The sudden change of career as a farmer made Laolian suffer a lot, and there was a dilemma such as choosing the wrong seeds and missing the fertilization season.
To this end, he invited agricultural experts from Taiwan to guide him, cooperated with local experts and agricultural technical schools, and introduced characteristic crops such as dragon fruit and grapes from Taiwan and other places.

Over the years, why did Laolian dare to continue to invest heavily on the banks of the Yellow River?
He introduced that he was given confidence after inspecting the Xiaolangdi Water Control Project on the Yellow River.

Why do I dare to come to the Yellow River (investment), I went to see it in 1997 (the Yellow River Xiaolangdi Water Control Project under construction), I was very shocked.
Adjust the water and sand, and brush the riverbed deep. (From) I came to the current riverbed and brushed down to a depth of 3 meters.
(Previously) the water (diffuse) reached my grape field as soon as it came up, and now it has (brushed) how deep it is.
In the past, I heard that the Yellow River often stopped flowing, especially in the dry season, when even grass grew, and the sediment on it blocked (the river) and (the water) scurried. Everyone is eager to get it, and everyone thinks the Yellow River is a treasure.
