Gisela Stockhaus is the first woman in the association's history to hold the post of chairman, the Swedish Bandy Association writes in a press release.

- I am incredibly happy for trust and it will be both exciting and fun.

I also look forward to forming my team together with the board and getting to know them.

I realize that we have quite big questions to work with, but I feel great support from bandy Sweden, says Gisela Stockhaus.

Leaving VSK after 16 years

Gisela Stockhaus has 16 years behind her on Västerås SK's board, of which ten as chairman, also there as the first woman in the post .. A chairmanship that she is now leaving.

She lives in Västerås and works as administrative manager and HR manager at the Rescue Service Mälardalen.

- I like people, driven by having dialogue and working with involvement.

An ambition I have is to, if possible, be able to meet all associations and together agree on which issues we should have at the top of the agenda, says Gisela Stockhaus.

The bandy final is high on the agenda

- Some questions can not be skipped and then I mean, for example, the bandy final.

It is already high up.

But that everyone should feel involved and feel a commitment is important to me, and that Swedish bandy is our common concern, Gisela Stockhaus concludes.
