The boss has been fired

There are also suspicions that the employee has embezzled or stolen from both users and Nordmaling municipality.

The person has been fired and is no longer allowed to work in the municipality's operations.

The employee's manager has also been suspended during the Lex-Sarah investigation.

- The manager has taken measures and handled the personnel matter, however, Lex-Sarah has not reported and this must be done according to the Social Services Act, says social manager Andreas Witt.

Unknown how many were affected

The social manager does not want to say how many users have been exposed.

However, he thinks that other staff reacted well when they signaled about malpractice.

- When we help with intimate hygiene, the border is fine when the caregivers do not want or protest in any way.

If the care continues without taking it into account, it is described as an abuse and that is what has happened, says Witt.

The municipality is now also investigating whether the incidents concerning suspected theft and / or embezzlement must be reported to the police.

According to Witt, the municipality will have a discussion about the manager's work situation next week.
