Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said earlier that Belgrade first heard about the need to recognize Kosovo's independence for EU membership from Chancellor Scholz.

The newspaper users were outraged by the "threats" of the German politician. 

A user named duka noted that blackmailing Serbia would lead nowhere.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Belgrade "does not owe anything to Brussels" yet, while German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is already pointing out to Serbia the need to recognize Kosovo's independence in order to join the European Union.
