“Negotiations are underway on the exit of civilians”

LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik said that at least 300 Ukrainian soldiers were blocked at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk.

Also, up to 500 civilians can remain on the territory of the plant.

“About 300-400 Ukrainian militants are now blocked on Azot.

They are concentrated near the first checkpoint of the chemical plant.

Up to 500 civilians can also stay there, who were hiding from shelling in the bomb shelter of the plant, ”he wrote in his Telegram.

According to Miroshnik, negotiations are underway on the safe exit of civilians from the territory of the plant.

“Ukrainian formations will be guaranteed life and adequate treatment in accordance with international requirements if they release the hostages, and they themselves stop resisting and surrender without any conditions,” the ambassador added.

Meanwhile, in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, they again reported shelling of their territories by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the representative office of the LPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire on the Telegram channel reported that the Ukrainian military fired six 122 mm caliber mines in Pervomaisk.

In turn, the representative office of the DPR noted that the Ukrainian side fired 15 missiles from the BM-21 Grad MLRS in the direction of Donetsk.

In turn, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that on June 11 in Melitopol the first Russian passports were issued to those who received Russian citizenship.

Earlier, Rogov reported that as of June 6, more than 70,000 people in the Zaporozhye region had applied for Russian citizenship.

"Uncovered genocide"

Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that Russia was forced to take decisive steps towards Ukraine, as it could not "leave the Donbass to be torn to pieces by neo-Nazis."

“In recent years, the Euro-Atlantic bloc has increased the full-scale military development of Ukraine, from which anti-Russia was intensively created.

An undisguised genocide was carried out against the Russian-speaking population in the east of the country ... Russian decisive actions are a forced and timely measure, dictated by the goal of giving a preemptive rebuff to aggression, ”TASS quotes him.

The diplomat added that Russia has always advocated a system of equal and indivisible security, but its fair and justified demands for security guarantees have been consistently ignored in the West.
