The weather on Saturday: hot in the south, up to 36 degrees in the lower Rhône valley

The sun will dominate on Saturday and the day will be summery, despite a few patches of fine clouds, with warm weather in the south, according to Météo France forecasts.

There will still be many clouds over Normandy and Hauts-de-France at the start of the day, but they will break up to give way to beautiful sunny spells in the afternoon.

A few showers on the east of the Pyrenees

Maritime entries into the Basque Country in the morning will also dissipate and give way to variable skies over the southwest in the morning, then over Occitania and the Massif Central in the afternoon.

A few showers will be triggered in the eastern Pyrenees at the end of the day.

Everywhere else, the sun will impose itself generously and despite a few banks of thin clouds, the atmosphere will be summery.

Minimum temperatures will range from 9 to 16 degrees in general from the northeast to the southwest of the country, and from 17 to 21 near the Mediterranean.

The highs will vary between 19 and 22 degrees near the English Channel, 23 and 28 over the rest of the northern half, between 26 and 31 over the southwest and between 30 and 36 degrees over the southeast.
