“I demanded from the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and persons equated to them who are on the territory of the region to voluntarily appear at the military commandant’s office, register, and also voluntarily hand over weapons and ammunition,” follows from a statement by the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region in Telegram.

The order “On Strengthening Public Security Measures” was signed on June 9.

It is noted that those who fulfilled the requirements of the commandant's office will not be held criminally liable, provided that they did not commit crimes.

“Whoever tries to evade the execution of the order is subject to detention with the seizure of all prohibited items found,” the commandant’s office added.

On June 9, a court in the Donetsk People's Republic issued death sentences to British citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Eslin, as well as Moroccan citizen Saadoun Brahim, who fought on the side of Ukraine.

All three are going to appeal against the decision of the court on execution.

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, noted that foreign mercenaries, in accordance with international humanitarian law, are not combatants.

In this regard, they cannot claim the status of a prisoner of war.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that all processes are based on the legislation of the Donetsk People's Republic, because the crimes in question were committed on the territory of the DPR.
