After the murder of a 13-year-old girl in Saône-et-Loire, the whole city is in shock.

"I met the family this morning. She is lost", confided the mayor of Clessé to the microphone of Europe 1. For some inhabitants, no doubt: "Even if it is a very young age, they had a link in love: it's a feminicide."

The aftermath of the case of the 13-year-old girl found dead Thursday in Clessé, in Saône-et-Loire.

While in police custody, her 14-year-old boyfriend confessed to strangling and stabbing him.

It is terror and amazement in Clessé.

The small village of 850 inhabitants is not recovering from the brutal and violent death of the young girl.

A schoolgirl that everyone knew, just like her family, whom the mayor of the town, Jean-Pierre Chervier, went to comfort this morning.

"I met the family this morning. They are lost," he said at the microphone of Europe 1.

"It's very hard," he also reported.

Her relatives knew about the relationship she had with this boy, "but they thought it had stopped, they didn't know it had resumed," he said again.

"They're devastated, completely devastated. Plus, she's an only child."

"It's a feminicide"

Her boyfriend, a 14-year-old boy, was in his fourth grade and lived in Viré, the village next door.

He had never been talked about before and was not known to the police.

But Cathy, a resident, knows that he made life difficult for his girlfriend.

"He's a boy who was a little threatening with this young girl and who had gone out with her, who had broken up...He absolutely wanted to see her again while they were apart. She was not too much of a agreement to continue the relationship”, she recalls.

"I think it was unrequited love."

For the Clesséenne, there is no doubt, "it's a feminicide": "Between us, between girlfriends, we really talk about a feminicide. Even if it's a very young age, they had a love bond. It's a femicide."
