The diplomatic representative made such a statement during a reception at the Russian Embassy in Washington, TASS reports.
“Russia is open to diplomatic interaction based on mutual respect and equality, especially now, when the world is facing so many challenges that require a coordinated response from the entire world community,” the Antonov agency quotes.
Earlier, Anatoly Antonov said that bilateral relations between Russia and the United States have reached an impasse.
