A person was found dead near the railway tracks in Longueau (Somme), this Thursday.

The discovery caused disruptions in train traffic for part of the day in the department and in the Oise, reports

The body was found in the morning around 9 a.m.

According to the SNCF, “it was the driver of a train who reported it”.

A lifeless body was discovered near the tracks in Longueau.

Traffic is therefore interrupted in both directions on these axes.

Police and undertakers

The circumstances of the tragedy have not been determined for the moment but it is not a suicide in the station.

Funeral directors and law enforcement personnel attended the scene.

Train traffic was interrupted at least until midday on the Amiens-Compiègne and Amiens-Creil lines.

Travelers could nevertheless take “alternative routes” set up by the SNCF.
