Three men were arrested this Wednesday in Vaux-le-Pénil (Seine-et-Marne).

They are suspected of having assaulted a man leaving a bar in Maincy on March 4, 2022, and of having stolen 5,800 euros from him, reports

That day, the 53-year-old victim was generous, paying for the drinks of several customers.

But by forgetting to hide his tickets, he attracted covetousness.

On leaving the bar to reach his car, he had been beaten up by a group and stripped of his tickets.

Fifteen days of ITT were prescribed for him thereafter.

A complaint had been filed and an investigation opened, with consultation of witnesses and analysis of video surveillance images.

It was after this that the three suspects were identified: a 51-year-old man, his 21-year-old son and another suspect of the same age, all known to the police.

450 euros in cash and clothes corresponding to those of the attackers were discovered during the searches.

The three suspects denied the charges against them and were to be tried in immediate appearance on Thursday June 9.
