According to the Russian Satellite Network report, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed an order, and the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Affairs Committee made a decision to impose personal sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin and others accordingly.

  Also on the list are Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov, Prime Minister Mishustin, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Belousov, Russian Government Chief of Staff Grigorenko, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu and Russian Foreign Minister Lav Roff et al.

  In addition, 236 Russian universities, including Moscow State University, were also sanctioned.

  The sanctions include freezing assets, restricting trade activities in terms of banning imports and exports, and preventing the withdrawal of assets from Ukraine, the report said.

The order is effective from the date of its promulgation.
