Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that the Russian-American political dialogue is at an unprecedented low level.
According to him, contacts between the two countries at this stage are limited, and communication between the parties ends with a discussion of technical problems.
Antonov also stressed that maintaining contacts between the Russian and US military is important to prevent a direct military confrontation.
