Bad luck, this resident of Annemasse (Haute-Savoie) came across a real policeman, who ended his little "game", reports France Bleu Pays d'Auvergne.

The man was tried and sentenced on June 2.

On May 27, in Annemasse, the defendant, aged 46, stopped a car, accusing its driver of not respecting the Highway Code.

Finding the situation suspicious, the driver in question then took out his police card.

The bogus agent immediately fled.
