  So far, the Cajamarca region is the only region in the country to use electronic driver's licenses, and local residents have welcomed electronic driver's licenses.

It is reported that regions such as Huanuco, Cusco, and Ayacucho will also soon implement electronic driver's licenses.

According to the regulations, local governments must apply to the MTC to implement electronic driver's licenses in their jurisdictions.
