His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, received, yesterday, at the Shati Palace, the Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennett.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed the guest Prime Minister, who offered his condolences and sympathy to His Highness and the people of the UAE on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, praising the role of the deceased in building bridges of cooperation, communication and peace with the countries of the world.
He also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his assumption of the presidency of the United Arab Emirates, wishing His Highness success in leading it to the aspirations of its people of progress and development.
He expressed his country's aspiration to work jointly with the UAE to expand the horizons of their cooperation during the next stage, for the benefit and prosperity of their peoples and the peoples of the region.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks for the good feelings expressed by the Prime Minister of Israel towards the UAE and its people, wishing his country and people stability and prosperity.
His Highness the President and Prime Minister of Israel also discussed bilateral cooperation paths and opportunities for its development in various aspects, especially investment, economic and development, in addition to the areas of food security, health, and other vital sectors on which development and development are based, in order to achieve the aspirations of the two countries towards the future.
