“I am infuriated by de-Russification and the eradication of any ties with Russia.

It is clear that Ukraine is leading here, because they are now going to rewrite the school curriculum, remove the remaining Russian language lessons from there, and also ban the study of Leo Tolstoy’s novel “War and Peace”, because this novel, of course, sings of the glory of the Russian army, and this, from the point of view of Ukraine, is unacceptable,” he said.

At the same time, Lebedev added that in Ternopil it was forbidden to perform songs in Russian on the streets.

“This is in addition to the fact that quotas have been in force in Ukraine for so long, within which Russian songs on the radio could only be performed in some ridiculous amount,” he said.

The designer also recalled Norway, which decided to rename Belarus.

“Well, as a cherry on the pie - Norway, which renamed Belarus, which in Norwegian was called Hviterussland - White Russia, - to Belarus.

All this to get rid of the word “Russia”, because now it is fashionable,” he added.

In April, the Polish government proposed that the European Commission become a "guardian of de-Russification" in Europe.
