Nicholas John Roske is 26 years old.

He comes from California and on the night of Tuesday June 7 to Wednesday June 8, he was arrested at the other end of the country, in the south of the state of Maryland, in possession of a weapon.

He himself called the emergency services to say he planned to assassinate Judge Brett Kavanaugh before taking his own life.

He was still on the phone when he was arrested near the home of one of the nine most powerful judges in the country.

In his bag: a semi-automatic pistol, a combat knife, enough to break in and immobilize someone.

The young man expressed his displeasure after the recent shootings in the country and after the leak of the document indicating that the court could soon reconsider the constitutional right to abortion.

Judges under pressure

Nominated by Donald Trump, Brett Kavanaugh

is a conservative judge

and seems to go along with the document.

This unprecedented leak sparked protests everywhere and the Supreme Court building has since been barricaded behind a fence.

Pressures, even threats against the judges, are denounced.

Their security has been reinforced.

The White House says President Joe Biden condemns the individual's actions in the strongest terms.
