Three years of waiting for a popular running event had come to an end: on Wednesday afternoon, the first runners gathered near the Alte Oper in Frankfurt to get in the mood for the 5.6-kilometer run of the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge.

After the Corona break in the two previous years, the largest company run in the world finally took place for the 28th time.

According to the organizers, 25,500 registered runners from more than 1000 companies, mainly from the Rhine-Main area, took to the track in rainy weather, including a large group from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

At the last company run three years ago, almost 63,000 people jogged through the city center.

The focus was not on the times, but on having fun running in a group.

The American bank JP Morgan wants to encourage this as a sponsor and namesake of the run.
