“The Iranian response will be decisive and proportionate,” Khatibzadeh tweeted.

He noted that the initiators of the resolution - Germany, France, Great Britain and the United States - are responsible for its consequences.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett welcomed the approval by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of a resolution on Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, during talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, said that the adoption of an IAEA resolution on Iran would disrupt negotiations on a nuclear deal.

Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that Russia would not associate itself with the IAEA resolution on Iran if it was adopted at a meeting of the agency's governing board.
