China News Agency, Berlin, June 8. Vienna News: On June 8, at the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (hereinafter referred to as "the Agency") held in Vienna, the United States, Britain, France and Germany pushed for the adoption of safeguards against Iran. Council resolution, China voted against the resolution.

Wang Chang, Chinese representative and chief librarian of the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations in Vienna, made a speech to elaborate on China's position.

Wang Chang stressed that China opposes relevant countries to push for the adoption of resolutions by the Council of Institutions to put pressure on Iran.

It has been proven time and time again that pressure will not help solve problems, but will intensify conflicts and escalate the situation.

Currently, the JCPOA resumption of the implementation negotiations is at the last minute.

Taking a confrontational approach on the agency council will only damage Iran's cooperation with the agency and undermine the Iranian nuclear negotiation process.

Wang Chang pointed out that China supports institutions and Iran to resolve differences on safeguards and supervision through dialogue and cooperation, and hopes that the two sides will continue to meet each other halfway and earnestly implement relevant consensus.

The top priority now is to bring the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear issue to a smooth conclusion and to realize the comprehensive agreement to return to the right track as soon as possible.

Wang Chang finally emphasized that the US, as the initiator of the Iranian nuclear crisis, should completely correct its mistakes, make a political decision as soon as possible, take practical measures, actively respond to the legitimate concerns of the Iranian side, and promote the resumption of negotiations on the implementation of the treaty to reach an agreement as soon as possible.

All parties should create the necessary conditions and a favorable atmosphere for diplomatic efforts.
