The State Duma in the first reading adopted a bill on control over the activities of foreign agents

“Deputies of the State Duma adopted in the first reading the draft law “On Control over the Activities of Persons Under Foreign Influence,” the State Duma website reports.

The authors of the bill propose to consolidate and update the existing laws governing the status of a foreign agent.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers supported the draft law “On control over the activities of persons under foreign influence”, taking into account a number of comments for their elimination to the second reading.
