Rasmus Paludan had been denied permission to hold an election meeting in Uppsala on May 1, but nevertheless appeared outside the mosque.

He was about to start lighting a fire on a Koran - but was interrupted by several people who came running and he jumped into his car which was then attacked.

No person should have been injured in the incident.

Films from the scene from evening newspapers and from the police drone are the prosecutor's main evidence regarding suspected sabotage against blue light activities and, secondarily, attempts to do so:

"Just press play"

- There was plenty of media on site - which was good for us.

Just press play and you will see what happens, says the responsible prosecutor Michael Ehrencrona.

According to the prosecutor, the accused man ran in front of a police bus and hit it.

- I mean, in the first place, they stopped these people in the police bus from expressing in the first place.

In the second place, tried to damage the police bus by hitting it.

Denies crime

At the trial, films showing the course of events will be played by the prosecutor.

The police officer who drove the bus in question must also be questioned.

The man has denied any wrongdoing.

In police interrogation, it is claimed that it was instead the police bus that drove into him so that he staggered backwards.

- I mean that the content of the films shows that this was not the case, says Michael Ehrencrona.

How do you view the action?

- This is a person who is currently visiting the mosque.

I see a very provoked and desperate man who is unable to control his own actions.

; an can have an understanding of an individual's actions - even if it is considered that the action is criminal.
