Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation: Our experiences with employment fairs are “unsatisfactory”

The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul-Mannan Al-Awar, revealed that the ministry has conducted a number of studies and research to measure the feasibility of holding employment events and exhibitions, and the results of these exhibitions concluded that there is a weakness in the outputs of these exhibitions.

The minister said, in response to a parliamentary proposal submitted by a member of the Federal National Council, Obaid Khalfan Al-Ghoul Al-Salami, to organize 3 settlement exhibitions annually, during the parliament session held this morning: The results obtained did not satisfy us,” he said, pointing out that the mechanisms and procedures currently approved by the ministry represent an important addition to the settlement file, as they are clear and can be fully measured, studied and analyzed.

The Federal National Council session will witness 6 parliamentary questions from members of the Council, to the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, about Emiratisation files, employment opportunities and mechanisms, and annual bonuses in the private sector.
