“The funeral of cosmonaut Valery Ryumin will take place on Thursday at the federal military memorial Pantheon of Defenders of the Fatherland.
The time of the ceremony is being specified,” he wrote on Telegram.
Earlier, the state corporation reported that cosmonaut Valery Ryumin, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, died at the age of 82.
He made four flights into space with a total duration of more than 370 days, worked in open space.
In June 2021, it became known about the death of twice Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot-cosmonaut Vladimir Shatalov.
