"Emirates Education" opens registration for "generational schools" and determines their names

The Emirates Foundation for School Education announced the opening of registration for generations schools at the end of next week, and notes that students who completed registration for the next academic year last April in schools that joined the generations schools are not required to register again, while students of other government schools wishing to transfer. Generations schools in grades 1-4 may register starting from the end of next week, depending on the availability of seats in them, noting that there is no possibility of accepting students from private schools wishing to transfer to al-Ajial schools.


The Foundation also announced the names of the schools that will be converted in the first stage to the “Generation Schools” model, which includes 10 schools, namely Al-Mizhar, first circle, Al Maktoum, first circle in Dubai, Al-Qarayen, first circle, Al-Furqan, first circle in Sharjah, and Mushairif, first circle. The first in the Emirate of Ajman.


The list also includes Umm Al Quwain School, first cycle in Umm Al Quwain, Al Mataf, first cycle, Al Wadi, first cycle, Al Ma'arid, first cycle in Ras Al Khaimah, in addition to Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi School, first cycle in Fujairah.


The Foundation explained that the "Generational Schools" model was approved by the Council of Ministers to develop the first cycle of the public education sector, and it is one of the many models that will be adopted during the coming period to provide greater options for parents and provide educational models through which we can meet different requirements.



The Generation Schools represent a new model for managing and developing public schools in the country.



The application of the "generational schools" model will start at the beginning of the next academic year (2022-2023).



The Foundation pointed out that the targets of this system are Emirati students and the like who are enrolled in government schools within the geographical scope of the schools.


 The Generations Schools adopt a combination of the national curricula approved in the Arabic language, Islamic education, moral education and social studies, under the direct supervision of the Emirates School Education, with international curricula in scientific subjects such as mathematics, science, and others.



The Foundation confirmed that the school timing and calendar will remain the same as in government schools, without modification, pointing out that there are no additional fees, as the government takes care of operating expenses and student fees.


 The Foundation stated that all teachers in the new model are qualified and highly experienced, based on the education standards in force in the country, explaining that the most prominent changes that will occur in non-curricular education are that schools will be provided with new teachers, employees and administrators, in addition to the survival and continuity of Arabic language and education teachers. Islamic and Social Studies.


The Foundation stressed that the schools will implement the current curriculum followed in all government schools affiliated with the "Emirates School Education", including Arabic language, Islamic education and social studies, in addition to keeping the Emirati faculty working in the schools in which the model will be applied to devote the Emirati identity in the generational schools model. Schools will also retain their names, uniforms, and calendar of activities, as in the past.



The Foundation stated that the registration of students in the new system is optional, as parents of students will have the full right to choose an appropriate school for your children within the framework of your residential area.
