The Prime Minister has previously said that if Minister of Justice Morgan Johansson (S) is defeated in the upcoming no-confidence vote, she and the entire government will resign.
Everything now depends on Kakabaveh because the situation is so even - the Moderates, Christian Democrats, Liberals and Sweden Democrats collect 174 of the 175 seats required to overthrow the minister.
- The greater consequence of Morgan Johansson being abstained is that then Magdalena Andersson resigns as Prime Minister.
In that case, the government will also resign.
Then we simply have a government crisis, says Madestam.
Madestam does not believe in a new prime ministerial vote, but estimates that Andersson will be able to remain until the parliamentary elections.
- It is most likely that the current government will remain as an expedition government until the election.
