On Saturday morning, the members of the orienteering club woke up to the news that the clubhouse had burned down.

No one was injured in the fire but the clubhouse could not be saved and burned to the ground.

- We will not get a new clubhouse for the foreseeable future, says Magnus Sundmark.

On National Day, the club would arrange the Summer Country Sprint with 3,000 participants.

A tradition that attracts participants from all over the country.

After a crisis meeting, the members decided to carry out the planned competition anyway.

Surrounding clubs have supported and also the rescue service - which saved something important from the fire.

- They were looking for people who could stay in the house and passed our club room and carried out, among other things, the controls for the competition, says Magnus Sundmark.
