As the parliamentarian noted, throughout the tsarist, imperial, and then early Soviet periods, all people who were in the public service had a common distinguishing feature - a uniform.

She visually emphasized the belonging of a particular person to the state apparatus, imposing on him additional responsibility for the honor of the uniform and delegating part of the authority of the state, the deputy emphasized.

Moreover, according to him, the presence of a uniform for civil servants deprived them of the opportunity to wear luxury items, expensive suits, inappropriate accessories or wardrobe items.

“I ask you to consider the idea of introducing a special universal form (uniforms) for high-ranking civil servants, deputies of regional assemblies, the State Duma of Russia and the Federation Council of Russia,” the text of the appeal says.

The deputy noted that in order to save budgetary funds, the tailoring of the uniform should be entrusted to the employees themselves or the cost of the uniform should be deducted from their wages.

Earlier, Milonov proposed to build a triumphal gate in Russia or another large-scale monument in honor of the special operation in Ukraine.
