Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of what was issued by the ruling party spokesman in India of arrogance and bad manners in talking about the Messenger of God Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and his wife, the Mother of the Believers, the pure and purified Lady Aisha

In a strongly worded statement, Al-Azhar said that the words of the Indian official revealed a flagrant ignorance of the history and biography of the prophets and messengers, and how they represented the highest peaks of morals, virtues and morals, and that God protected them from falling into vices and what pure and upright souls hate.
The offensive statements were published by Navin Kumar Jindal, the media official of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in India, and provoked anger among Muslims, prompting Arab and Islamic countries to summon their Indian ambassadors to protest, while the ruling party only suspended the official's work.

According to the statement, Al-Azhar considered what this “ignorant, reckless person to the greats of humanity” said as a ridiculous statement that every hater of Islam and Muslims repeats from time to time, stressing that such behavior is real terrorism, which can plunge the entire world into deadly crises and intense wars. Hence, the international community must confront firmly, valiantly and forcefully to stop the dangers of these abusers.
Al-Azhar stressed that what some political officials resort to recently about insulting Islam and its noble Prophet, the prophet of chastity, literature and purity, to win the support of votes in party elections, and inflame the feelings of their followers against Muslims;
It is an explicit call for extremism and spreading hatred and sedition among followers of different religions and creeds, something that can only be issued by advocates of extremism and supporters of hatred and sedition, and the enemies of the policy of dialogue between followers of different faiths, civilizations and cultures.
Al-Azhar concluded by emphasizing the need for the civilized world to stand today on the lookout for such traffickers in religions and gamblers with supreme human values in the stock market of elections and politics.
Islamic anger
Activists expressed their anger at the offensive statements, saying that they come as an extension of the policy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which they described as racism against Muslims.
Tweeters denounced the escalation of hatred against Islam and Muslims in India, saying that it is following in the footsteps of France and China in promoting Islamophobia and hostility.
Many Arab and Islamic countries also denounced these statements, and demanded the ruling party to make an apology, but the party contented itself with suspending the work of its spokesman, Navin Kumar, after the offensive comments to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, according to local media.
The ruling party in India confirmed - in a statement on its website - that it respects all religions, saying, "The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns insulting any religious symbols of any religion."
France began offending the Prophet’s standing, peace be upon him, by publishing the offensive cartoons, so a section of his loved ones decided to boycott French products 585 and the official response was limited to two or three countries, and now the symbols of the ruling party in India curse the Prophet and his wife within Modi’s policy of persecuting Muslims, and we did not see a response to that.
