According to RIA Novosti, Karasin wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“The refusal of Bulgaria, Montenegro and North Macedonia to let Lavrov's plane into Serbia gives rise to many emotions.

One of them - the European Union - thinks that the physical blockade of contacts between Russian representatives and foreign partners will strengthen "unanimity" in Europe regarding Russian policy, ”he said.

According to Karasin, in fact, "this is an indicator of a political inferiority complex."

Earlier, the Serbian newspaper Vecherniye Novosti reported that Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro had closed their airspace for Lavrov’s aircraft to fly into Serbia.

Later, the Russian ambassador to Sofia, Eleonora Mitrofanova, confirmed that Bulgaria had refused to provide an air corridor for Lavrov's plane.
