"Education" increases fees for 3 private schools by 10%

The Ministry of Education stated that it had agreed to increase the fees for the next academic year (2022-2023), for three private schools, explaining that the increase was 10%.

Private schools in the emirates of Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah are directly supervised by the Ministry of Education.

In its response to Emirates Today's questions, the ministry mentioned several reasons and justifications for increasing tuition fees, including the development work carried out by the private school, whether in the school environment or curricula, or increasing teachers' salaries, and other matters that serve the educational process and enhance the quality of service. The education students receive in schools.

Regarding the number of new private schools, the ministry indicated that during the past five years, 22 new schools joined the service, in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah, while the ministry received licensing requests for two new schools during the current academic year.
