The truth about the plane attack on the home of US President Joe Biden

A White House official announced that a private plane mistakenly entered the airspace over the home where US President Joe Biden is spending the weekend, pointing out that this was not an attack, and a precautionary measure was taken.

President Biden and his wife were briefly transferred before returning to their residence in the seaside resort of Rehoboth, about two hundred kilometers east of Washington.

The White House official, who asked not to be identified, noted that Biden and his wife are safe.

"Just before 13:00 (17:00 GMT), a private aircraft entered the restricted airspace over Rehoboth after entering, by mistake, a safe area," the Secret Service, which protects US officials, said in a statement.

"The plane was immediately escorted out of the restricted airspace," he added.

The statement continued: "The initial investigation shows that the pilot was not using the correct radio channel, did not respect the instructions of the authorities, and was not following the announced path."

The statement indicated that the secret service will investigate the pilot.
