A train derailed from the railroad tracks is coming up to the platform.

The locomotive at the front of the train is so badly deformed that it is difficult to recognize its shape.

The inside of the carriage was chaos due to a sudden accident.

[Train passenger: The train has crashed.

I was really surprised.

What happened.]

Today (4th), around 10:30 am local time, the high-speed train from Guizhou Province in southern China to Longjiang Station derailed.

When the train exited the tunnel about 1.5 km from the station, it encountered a landslide and derailed, and then collided with an anti-collision barrier and a platform.

One engineer was killed in the accident, and one crew member and seven passengers were injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

About 130 other passengers evacuated safely.

There was a bridge rail section between the tunnel and the station, which almost led to a bigger accident.

As a result of the investigation, Chinese media reported that the engineer found an abnormality in the track and applied emergency braking in 5 seconds.

Earlier, in March 2020, in Hunan Province, China, a train derailed by emergency braking due to a landslide.

The train overturned and a fire broke out, killing the driver and injuring 127 of the 700 passengers.
