The start of Carnival 2022 will be tonight with the Proclamation in the Plaza de San Antonio, by the singer India Martínez.
For the first time women participate in all the categories of the official contest - they already did it in the choirs.
And this year there will be no dance tent, according to the municipal government, because of
"a neighborhood sector, the opposition and a certain media sector."
No businessman asked for the concession.
The agenda for this first weekend is complete: Battle of couplets, Grand Carnival Gala, couplets in the neighborhood of La Viña, Carousel de Coros or the Cavalcade, which will start from the Glorieta de Ana Orantes.

The author has commented that he has given González seven years of margin.

Also the mixed choir of Luis Rivero, 'Químbara', has been clear:
"I never voted for you nor am I going to vote for you, nor did I ever deny who my mayor is.
But many who voted and trusted you looking for answers, spent the years waiting that one day you would keep your promises. (...) Vanity has simply swallowed you, leaving a character that feeds on ideology. (...) If you don't want to disappoint, better take a step back, keep your word, show elegance, retire and go".
Someone from Cádiz also commented that the people of the Carnival are going "to slaughter him. He has made enemies, they are not happy with him and his popularity is dropping quite a bit".
Meanwhile, Teresa Rodríguez, aspires to the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía with her formation Adelante Andalucía, managing to participate in the debates prior to the Andalusian elections of 19-J.
Teresa and Kichi met in different citizen assemblies,
while he was still married.
Shortly after the birth of their second child from their first marriage, they became a couple.
TWO DAUGHTERS IN COMMON
The Clintons of Cádiz, as some call them in their neighborhood of La Viña, have been the parents of two girls, Aurora (in 2019) and Candela (in 2020).
The entire family is happy on their respective social networks.
Meanwhile, Teresa throws herself into the campaign.
According to what was made public two days before the start of the campaign, as dictated by the Electoral Law,
Teresa has a balance of 4,923.98 euros in her account,
in addition to two homes (with a cadastral value of 43,006 and 39,751 euros), a loan mortgage (69,433 euros) and another for consumption (9,969 euros), both at 50%, and credit insurance of 59,800 euros.
All that remains is to know if Kichi will take the step back that they asked for in the couplets and if Teresa achieves representation on 19-J, given
the great division of the Andalusian left
and some polls that predict a seat precisely for Cádiz.
