The corresponding order was published on the website of the head of state.

By another order, the President temporarily removed Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev from his post.

"Kurmankul Zulushev to be temporarily removed from the post of the Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of investigative actions," the document says.

As TASS clarifies with reference to the presidential press service, the removal and new appointment are connected with the criminal case against the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.

It was decided to reshuffle the country's Prosecutor General's Office "for the completeness and objectivity of the investigation of the case, taking into account the personal relationship between the Minister of Health and the Prosecutor General."

In October 2020, Zhaparov signed a decree appointing Kurmankul Zulushev as the new prosecutor general of the republic.
